The AIDS United 340B Work Group is a subcommittee of AIDS United’s Public Policy Council. It is composed of 11 safety-net providers working to advance health equity across the country by getting HIV services to the people in communities harmed by systemic barriers to care.
Collectively, we provide care and services to more than 300,000 people, including more than 25,000 people living with HIV, across 11 states and Washington, D.C.
We’re working to make a difference. And one federal program in particular is helping us do it: the 340B Discount Drug Program.
Our Mission
The 340B Program is the foundation of access to care and services for people living with and vulnerable to HIV. With effective strategic policies and sustained financial support, the 340B Program can be a stable resource for the health care providers who serve those of us most in need.
Our mission is simple: provide access to care for people living with and at risk of HIV by maintaining the integrity of the 340B Program.
Any new legislation or agency rules proposing changes to the 340B Program should ensure patients’ continued access to care.
Our Commitment
The AIDS United 340B Work Group is invested in the continued success of the 340B Drug Pricing Program. To that end, we are open to maintaining a dialogue with all stakeholder groups to protect and ensure the viability of the 340B Program. Protecting 340B means protecting the patients and communities we serve.
